Homeworking group Not Just Travel has appointed a Chief Revenue Officer to help its travel consultants boost their earnings.

Marcus Jones was previously Managing Director of Auto Trader and Trinity Mirror Digital Property, which became part of the property giant Zoopla.

His appointment is part of a £1m investment by Not Just Travel in its senior team.

Co-founder Paul Harrison said: “We already have a phenomenal team, but to grow to the next level in our business we need to bring in even more talent; the very best from within travel and outside.

“Today we are pleased to be announcing another fantastic coup for the business, as we introduce our Chief Revenue Officer, a person whose primary focus is to increase the incomes of our travel consultants.”

Marcus said: “I’m excited to be joining an award-winning, innovative and progressive company. I have found the team to be very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional so far.

“I’m told that this is a very friendly industry, so it feels like coming home. I am really looking forward to working with our business owners, staff, suppliers and partners”

His appointment was announced at a Not Just Travel training event for 200 travel consultants in Birmingham today, where the company also unveiled its Ultimate Rewards programme for agents.

However, details of the rewards programme will not be made public until later this year, said Mr Harrison.
