Not in the Guidebooks has appointed Tracy Roberts as its Sales & Operations Team Leader as it continues to expand the business.

Tracy, who will report into Sales Director Debbie Sowden, has been in retail travel for 26 years and most recently worked for Midcounties Coop Travel as a Cluster Manager.

She has previously held roles at Thomas Cook and Going Places and went on to run her own business for ten years before moving back into the industry in October 2022.

Debbie said: “As consumer demand in the UK increases for experiential travel, our goal is to be the brand that is front of mind for agents.  Tracy’s role will mean that we can continue to increase our engagement with agents and ensure we provide them with the tools and know how to help them serve their customers in this area.

“Tracy’s experience of working as a retail agent will also be beneficial to us as we continue to grow our business, as she knows instinctively what agents want from operators.”

Tracy added: “I have watched Not in the Guidebooks grow in recent years and believe they have an exceptionally strong proposition.  I am looking forward to strengthening our relationships with agents and supporting them as they build their businesses in this sector.”

Not in the Guidebooks has made a number of appointments over the past two months, including Michelle Thake as Business Development Manager, Jamie-Lee Abtar as Marketing Manager and Huw Price as Product Manager.
