Customers no longer need to download, print or save a new copy of their COVID Pass every 30 days since the NHS has extended the validity of the barcodes on the passes to six months.

COVID Passes are still required to show proof of vaccination, recovery or a negative test result for entry to some countries.

You can access a digital version via the NHS website or via the NHS app, or you can order a printed letter directly from the NHS.

Previously, the barcode on the digital passes expired after 30 days, so customers would have to download, print or save a new version of their COVID Pass every month, if they needed proof of their COVID status.

However, the NHS has confirmed the barcodes on the passes are now valid for 180 days.

NHS Covid Pass letters are also valid for six months.
