The Good Travel Agent has launched a bookable website for its franchise owners, in what it claims is a first for a travel agency franchise.

The website includes a mix of bookable products, including packages, flights, accommodation-only, attraction tickets and car hire.

Franchisees will earn commission on all bookings made by their customers via the site. 

‘I am super excited to launch this fantastic tool for our agents, it will give them another tool to gain additional customers and bookings, allowing them to make additional commission from direct bookings,” said CEO Jake Cullum-Hollins.

“Customers will also get the benefits of booking online but with the additional service of having a personal travel agent on hand to help them along the way.”

The Good Travel Agent has 16 franchisees and is aiming to recruit a further 20 within the next six months.

It has also just launched an e-learning platform to be able to train agents faster.
