Kent-based Albatross Group has launched a new operator to the UK market, offering escorted tours of Italy.
It claims to offer ‘immersive’ and ‘truly authentic’ adventures of Italy, including encounters with local artisans, authentic cuisine and immersive cultural activities.
Albatross Group Italy Contract Manager Paul Stratton, who was previously Prestige Holidays Italy Consultant Director, said: ‘‘I’m really excited to be involved in re-launching an off the beaten-track tours concept to Sicily and Italy, which proved to be so popular with agents and clients alike.”
Magari Tours Director of Sales & Product Tony Flanagan said: “Magari Tours is born out of a passion for showcasing the authentic essence of Italy and providing travellers with unforgettable, off the beaten track adventures with local sustainability at the heart of all we do.
“Each element has been purposefully handpicked and we’re immensely proud of what we have to offer. We are excited to collaborate with the travel trade to make these experiences accessible to discerning, experiential travellers who seek a deeper connection with the destinations they visit.”
Andy Handy, Co-CEO of parent company The Albatross Group, which operates Albatross Tours in Australia, said: “Embarking on this journey, our passion for creating unforgettable experiences and the belief that sustainable travel transforms lives are the driving forces behind Magari.
“We launch with the strength of The Albatross Group behind us and look forward to working with the travel trade to bring Magari to life.”
The Albatross Group has an ATOL licence for 1,382 passengers. Magari says it is working with a number of ‘handpicked’ independent agents in the UK and others interested in partnering with the operator are invited to contact Tony at [email protected].
