The JG Travel Group has appointed Neil Hardy as Director of Marketing & E-commerce.
Mr Hardy will leave his current role as head of omni-channel at Mid Counties Co-op to take up his new position on 2 August.
The JG Group said he will bring not only a wealth of experience in both marketing and digital, but also extensive knowledge of the group tours sector.
Prior to joining Mid Counties Co-op, Mr Hardy was Marketing and Digital director at the Specialist Leisure Group.
Reporting to The JG Travel Group’s CEO,Andy Freeth, he will be responsible for the marketing, digital and studio teams.
Mr Freeth said: “I am delighted to welcome Neil to our executive team. He will play a pivotal role in ensuring The JG Travel Group meets its strategic objectives through the optimisation of marketing performance, specifically through digital.”
Mr Hardy added: “I’m really looking forward to joining the JG Travel Group in August. The group has seen some very impressive growth recently, and I look forward to working with the team to accelerate the marketing and e-commerce strategy for its fantastic range of brands.”
The JG Travel Group brands include Just Go! Holidays and Omega Breaks, as well as National Holidays, whose brand and database were acquired in July 2020.
