Norwegian Cruise Line has cancelled seven months of cruises onboard Norwegian Sun in 2025.
In an email sent to travel agents and passengers the line said that it would be cancelling a total of 22 cruises from late March 2025 to early November 2025.
The email seen by Cruise Hive is said to have stated: “As a result of a fleet redeployment, Norwegian Sun’s sailings from March 28, 2025 through and including November 3, 2025 have been cancelled.
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.”
Guests are being issued full refunds within 30 days, and those who used a future cruise credit (FCC) will have those reinstated to their accounts. All guests will also receive a 10% discount FCC for use on a future cruise.
Travel Gossip contacted NCL’s PR team but it was unable to provide further details on why the cancellations were taking place.
The news follows a similar announcement last month where Norwegian Cruise Line cancelled sailings on Norwegian Escape for three months in 2025.
