Norwegian Cruise Line guests have been told that cruises onboard Norwegian Sky have been cancelled for 2023, according to a cruise publication.

The ship had been due to sail from Miami to the Bahamas and Caribbean next year.

But, according to Cruise hive, all cruises from 30 December 2022 to 13 February 2023, as well as those from 20 February to 14 April and again from 29 May to 29 December have been cancelled.

A letter from Senior Vice President for Guest Services Katty Byrd to customers, apparently seen by Cruise Hive, says: “As a result of ship redeployment, all Norwegian Sky sailings from May 29, 2023, through and including December 29, 2023, have been canceled. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.”

The publication said travel agents had received notification from NCL that cruises from the end of December this year to mid February 2023 and again from 20 February 2023 to mid April were cancelled.

They were told the cancellations were to enable NCL to ‘continue focusing on delivering the absolute best vacation to prioritize the guest experience’.

Guests will receive a full refund plus a 10% future cruise credit.
