Norwegian Cruise Line has cancelled all cruises on its Breakaway-Plus class ship Norwegian Joy at the beginning of next year to send the ship into drydock.
In a statement, it told Travel Gossip the ship will undergo ‘routine maintenance’ in January 2024.
It confirmed cruises have been cancelled from 6 January to 10 February 2024.
“As part of our commitment to continuously offer extraordinary vacation experiences around the world for our guest, and to uphold a consistent world-class product across our fleet, Norwegian Joy will be undergoing routine maintenance in early 2024,” it said.
“In order to complete these enhancements, Norwegian Joy sailings from January 6, 2024 through and including February 10, 2024 have been cancelled.”
Affected guests are being promised a full refund and a 10% Future Cruise Credit to be used by the end of 2024.
