Mum Heather Barrott has praised Jet2holidays for pulling out the stops to help her terminally ill son Nova on a family trip to Benidorm.

Four-year-old Nova has a rare brain tumour and has just months left to live.

Determined to create happy memories with the time they have left with Nova, mum, dad and big sister Zarah, aged seven, took him on holiday to Benidorm last week, but unfortunately he suffered his first seizure while at the hotel and had to be rushed to hospital.

On Facebook, Heather wrote: “Jet2 have provided amazing support throughout. They have been ringing me every day to check on us all and were so helpful. They also made sure my daughter was well looked after at the hotel while we were at the hospital.”

Jet2holidays also arranged a VIP trip to the local Marde Mar zoo, where little Nova got to meet many of the animals.

And on the flight home, Nova and his sister were taken to meet the captain in the cockpit.

“Amazing company…I wouldn’t use anyone else…Nova and I are forever grateful,” Heather added.
