MSC Cruises’ ship MSC Grandiosa will be fully dedicated to the Norwegian Fjords for the entire summer 2022 season in a change to the operator’s programme as a result of the invasion of Ukraine.

The ship had been due to sail Baltic cruises and MSC had already announced it would drop the St Petersburg port of call.

Now MSC has opted to drop Grandiosa’s Baltic itinerary altogether.  The ship will instead offer seven-night itineraries from Kiel, Germany calling at Copenhagen before heading to the Norwegian port of Hellesylt through Sunnylvsfjord and Aurlandsfjord on the way to the port town of Alesund and Flam village.

MSC Poesia and MSC Preziosa will still call in the Baltics but with St Petersburg replaced with other destinations such as Stockholm, Tallinn and Visby.

MSC Cruises is contacting travel agents and guests affected by the updated itineraries for all three ships.
