Marella Cruises has confirmed it will restart fly-cruises on 3 September and is offering discounted fares to stimulate bookings.

Flights will operate from Gatwick to Corfu, where Marella Discovery will be based, operating a Greek island itinerary.

TUI UK and Ireland Managing Director Chris Hackney said the recent decision to lift the ban in international cruising was ‘great news’.

“Our domestic cruises have received some fantastic customer feedback and we will continue to operate these from Southampton and Newcastle in August before we return to international cruises in September from our homeports in the UK and Corfu,” he said.

Couples can save up to £900 on departures until 24 October.
