Workers at London Luton Airport have announced two days of strikes on Friday 28 July and Tuesday 1 August after rejecting a pay offer.
The workers are employed by APCOA Parking UK as bus drivers transporting passengers and staff from car parks to the airport terminal and valet parking staff.
Their union Unite said the strike will ‘inevitably mean delays for passengers and staff who use the car parks and terminal at Luton Airport’.
Its members will strike from 6.30am for 24 hours on both 28 July and 1 August.
Unite said it was meeting with APCOA next week, adding: “Disruption could still be avoided if bosses offer workers a pay deal which helps them through the cost of living crisis.”
Travel Gossip has approached APCOA, a German-based business, for a comment.
