London Luton Airport has resumed normal operations following a huge fire in one of its multi-storey car parks that forced it to close.

Flights resumed on Wednesday afternoon and are operating with only minor delays this morning.

For those passengers arriving by car, the long and mid-stay car parks are open and a temporary drop-off area has been established in the mid-stay car park.

The DART shuttle service for those travelling by rail is still out of action, but a replacement bus service is in operation.

Those with queries relating to parked vehicles or future bookings in Terminal Car Park 2 and Car Park 1 should contact [email protected].

The fire is believed to have started when a parked car ignited.
