One of latest contestants on ITV2’s hit reality TV show Love Island is 29-year-old Rachel Finni, who works as an entertainment and VIP senior coordinator at The Leading Hotels of the World.
Rachel, the oldest contestant to enter the Love Island villa this year, said: “It will be an amazing way to spend the last year of my 20s. Doing something that fulfils me emotionally as well.”
She added: “It’s a great experience, you meet great people. I’m someone who loves to live my life to the best. I’ve scraped the bottom of the dirtiest barrels, that’s how I describe my dating life. So I thought ‘why not? Let’s apply. If it happens, it happens’.”
Prior to going into the Love Island villa in Majorca last week, Rachel revealed that she regularly works with celebrities as part of her job – and once met George Clooney and his wife Amal in a lift. “It was completely by chance,” she said. “I was going to the finance department in one property and I was in the lift with George and Amal. You’re trained to not react.”
Speaking to the Radio Times she added: “For me, it’s more what the hotels are capable of. We had a rock star staying at one of our hotels once and we managed to open up the ceiling just so we could get a Baby Grand Piano in there for them.”
