Swansea-based The Travel House has joined Hays Travel’s Independence Group.

The family-run business, established in 1992, has more than 20 branches, making it the largest independent agency in Wales.

It was previously a member of Advantage Travel.

Head of the Independence Group Natasha Marson said: “I am delighted to welcome on board the team from The Travel House.

“They have been a real pleasure to train and spend time with, and I am confident that they will continue to grow and be successful.”

In 2017, The Travel House was recognised by TIPTO as Independent Agency of the Year. Head of Business Development Kate Bowen said: “We are delighted to be working with Hays. The transition has been seamless and our teams have worked well together to ensure our customers and suppliers have received the same level of service.”

The Independence Group support team spent two weeks in Swansea providing training to over 90 employees.
