Kenya Airways’ website appears to have crashed on Tuesday, with customers told to book on the airline’s app instead.

The airline issued a statement on X saying the booking option on its website was unavailable due to technical issues.

However, Travel Gossip was unable to access the airline’s website at all.

In its message on X, the airline advised customers to use its mobile app or contact customer service for assistance by phone or via Whatsapp.

It added: “We would like to assure you that we are working diligently to resolve this as quickly as possible.”

The site appears to have since been repaired.

Last month, Virgin Atlantic started selling tickets on Kenya Airways’ flights between London and Nairobi under a codeshare arrangement with Kenya’s national carrier. Both airlines are part of the SkyTeam alliance.
