The JG Travel Group says it is on course for its biggest ever year, with its three brands, Just Go! Holidays, National Holidays and Omega Breaks smashing all previous sales records.

Sales for this summer through Just Go! Holiday and Omega Breaks are up 18% compared to 2019.

In addition, the group’s National Holidays brand, which it bought in July 2020, has achieved multiple record booking days, it said.

CEO Andy Freeth added: “We are on course for the biggest year in our history and bookings have exploded via our trade partners recently.

Many products have already sold out and more are being added all the time.  Our short breaks, event and experiences are proving particularly popular with products such as Harry Potter Studio Tours and André Rieu driving demand.”

Although it has always taken trade bookings, the group only began actively targeting agents in August 2020, following its purchase of National Holidays and the appointment of Claire Dutton to drive sales.

Andy added: “We’ve worked really hard as a business over the last 18 months to drive awareness of all our brands and products within the trade.

“ I’m delighted with what we have achieved, and we’ve seen bookings rise across the entire group as a result. We remain committed to investing in agents and will continue to do this going forward. They are an important part of our growth plans and we will support them in as many ways as possible.”
