Jet2holidays has promoted long-standing agency sales representative Lloyd Cross as General Manager, Trade Sales.

He has been handed the role after more than a decade working for the tour operator, the last eight in the trade team where he helped agents grow their sales.

Mr Cross will report to Head of Trade Sales, Alan Cross.

Lloyd Cross said: “With travel returning to normal and independent travel agents in the perfect position to capitalise on the subsequent demand, I am really looking forward to strengthening this partnership approach to ensure mutual success.

Jet2holidays, which has a 14-strong trade team working with 2,500 agents, said Mr Cross will be responsible for ensuring retailers are provided with the ‘best knowledge, support and data’ to grow their businesses.
