Jet2holidays is promising to ‘work alongside independent travel agency partners to give them everything they need’ to clinch sales in the coming weeks.
The operator has announced a new campaign, Travel Made Simple, which includes a dedicated staff training programme, bespoke marketing materials and even an ‘Ask Me Anything’ badge for staff to wear in store.
Head of Trade Sales Alan Cross said: “Demand is growing all the time, so we will be working alongside independent travel agency partners to give them everything they need to not only answer customer questions but to turn that dialogue into sales too.”
He adds: “By launching this campaign now, we are supporting independent travel agents so that they are ready for the demand out there.
“Not only will it equip independent travel agents to inspire confidence amongst customers wanting to book a package holiday but it will enable them to get onto the front foot when it comes to promoting holidays too. As always, we are looking at the trends on the high street and responding to them so that we can strengthen our partnership approach to working with independent travel agents.”
