Jet2holidays is offering to pay off winter bills for five agents up to a total of £4,000 each.
All agents need to do to be in with a chance is to promote the operator’s new campaign in their shop window or on social media.
Five winners will be picked over five weeks and Jet2 will pay up to £1,000 off their business bills every month from November 2022 to February 2023.
The campaign agents are being asked to promote is called Holiday Saving Experts, which enables them to give advice to customers on how they can make their money go further when booking holidays.
Money saving advice to customers in the campaign includes being flexible with dates, booking an ATOL-protected holiday and taking advantage of free child prices.
Meanwhile, Jet2 is reminding agents to promote payment flexibility, £60 deposits, locking in prices now to take advantage of Jet2’s commitment to not introduce a surcharge and thinking about flexible durations, not just a seven or 10-night holiday.
In addition, the campaign showcases how assurance messages can help win customers, such as booking through a Which? Recommended Travel Provider and how choosing a different star rating, board basis, room type, destination or departure airport can save money.
Jet2 is also encouraging independent travel agents to share their own tips on social media to help customers’ money go further.
CEO Steve Heapy said: “We know that some customers are increasingly price conscious, so we want to give our independent travel agency partners all the tools and knowledge so that they can assure customers and position themselves as trusted experts.
“This campaign is all about highlighting those qualities to independent travel agency partners, as well as giving them all the support they need in line with our partnership approach.”
Jet2 will target agents through a number of channels including email, social, video and training sessions.
In addition, the trade team will provide agents with bespoke marketing collateral such as in-store branding, window posters, social media content and Holiday Saving Expert badges for agents to wear.
