Jet2holidays has announced the launch of Express Transfers, a new service that guarantees customers booking particular hotels will to be the first, second or third drop-off on their arrival transfer.
It also guarantees customers will be one of the final three pick-ups on their departure transfer back to the airport at the end of their holiday.
The launch of the new service was announced by Head of Product Zoe Towers at the company’s annual VIP conference for independent travel agents, which is taking place at the 3HB Guarana in Portugal this week.
Express Transfers will launch in the next few weeks and will be included as standard – with no extra charge – when customers or independent travel agents book a hotel featuring the service.
Customers with existing bookings to properties featuring the service will also automatically receive an Express Transfer unless they have already booked a private transfer.
The service will initially feature in approximately 80 hotels destinations including the Canary Islands, Balearics, Turkey, Greece, Portugal, Madeira, Bulgaria and Cyprus, before expanding further.
Zoe announced the new service during a presentation to independent travel agents about combatting the cost-of-living crisis.
She said: “The demand for holidays remains very strong, but some customers are undoubtedly feeling price-conscious in this economic climate.
“As travel experts, it is therefore up to us to help our customers find that all-important value when they are booking their holidays.
“The launch of Express Transfers does this and more, as not only is it a fantastic way to kick off or end a holiday by speeding the transfer up, but it also offers a better value alternative to a private transfer.”
She added: “The launch of Express Transfers is a win-win for independent travel agents when selling to customers, as it finds that perfect sweet spot between providing brilliant customer experience and offering superb value.
“It means Jet2holidays customers can be off the coach and into the pool in no time, and there’s no better way to start a holiday than that.
“We expect it to be enormously popular and as with anything that we know that our customers love, we will be looking to expand it even further.”
