Jet2holidays has increased its ATOL to carry 5.3m passengers over the next 12 months, just 36,000 fewer than TUI.
In the latest round of ATOL renewals, TUI remained the largest ATOL holder, increasing its licence to carry 5,336,410 passengers up to September 2023.
The two companies are significantly larger than any of their competitors.
On the Beach is the third largest ATOL holder, with a licence to carry 1,863,026 passengers over the next year.
We Love Holidays is only slightly behind OTB, with a licence for 1.85m.
EasyJet holidays is now in fifth place, with the aim of taking 1,299,465m people on package holidays over the next 12 months.
