Taking place from 5-11 February, the annual event brings together businesses and apprentices across the country to raise awareness of apprenticeships. and Jet2holidays will be showing their support with a week-long series of activities, including attending the Leeds Apprenticeship Recruitment Fair, Tree Planting with their charity partner, Trees for Cities, a session on managing money delivered by Barclays Digital Eagles, and encouraging apprentices to return to their schools and colleges to deliver careers talks.

The theme for 2024 is ‘Skills for Life’, which aims to promote apprenticeship opportunities at all ages.

Last month Jet2holidays launched its Appoint an Apprentice scheme, with the company offering up to £5,000 towards the salary of each new apprentice hired by its independent agent partners across the UK. 

In October, and Jet2holidays also recognised 33 apprentices graduating from their apprenticeship scheme, and they now have permanent positions with the business. and Jet2holidays HR Director Miriam D’souli said: “Our apprentices are integral to our ongoing business success and growth, so we are delighted to be involved with the Supporters Club for National Apprenticeship Week 2024. With the significant recruitment of even more apprentices planned for next year as well as the opportunities available to existing colleagues, the future of and Jet2holidays looks very bright with the array of talent progressing through the companies.
