Jet2 is looking to recruit more than 100 additional employees at Bristol after adding two new summer routes and increasing capacity from the airport.

It has vacancies for pilots, cabin crew, ground staff and engineers.

The airine and operator announced today that they will have new routes from Bristol to Malaga in Spain and Chania in Crete this summer.

In total, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have 32 destinations on sale for summer ’23 from Bristol, with capacity up 13% compared with last summer to a total of 925,000.

The airline will base a seventh aircraft at Bristol to support the expansion.

CEO Steve Heapy said: “We are extremely excited about our third summer at Bristol Airport, which will be our busiest and biggest yet.

“Since launching flights and holidays in 2021, the response from customers and independent travel agents across the southwest and south Wales has been enormous and this has enabled us to enjoy the growth we have seen.”
