Jet2.com has issued a warning to travellers of national strike action in Italy this Friday (29 September).

On its website the airline has said that the ‘details regarding the impact of strike action are still being finalised by the authorities’.

All Jet2 flights are currently planned to operate on time, but the airline has warned that due to the strike action there will not be as many staff at the airports, and passengers may experience longer waits at passport control, immigration and at boarding gates.
