Jet2 has launched an expanded city breaks programme for winter 2023-24, with eight destinations on sale.

The programme includes two new routes, both from Stansted – to Athens and Rome, plus additional services to Athens from Manchester, making the Greek capital a year-round destination.

Flights are also on sale from Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford and Newcastle, with Barcelona, Budapest, Krakow, Paris and Venice making up the list of destinations.

The programme was announced ahead of today’s AGM, in which Executive Chairman Philip Meeson will tell shareholders: “We are very confident that package holidays are the right product for price-conscious customers especially in challenging economic times, and this provides further opportunity for us to grow our customer base, though as previously announced, margins may come under some pressure in the short term.

“Our well proven dynamic booking systems enable us to flex our offer to match consumers’ changing demands and to deliver great value truly variable duration holidays.”
