ITC has restructured its trade partnerships team, with an internal promotion and the creation of a new role.

Vicky McGlynn joins as Trade Partnership Executive later this month, reporting in to Gary Bates, who has been promoted from Trade Partnership Manager to National Trade Partnership Manager.

In his new role, Gary will focus on commercial and strategic partner opportunities.

Vicky joins the ITC trade team from a sales role at Inspiring Travel, where she has been working with trade partners on European enquiries.

ITC said Vicky’s new position gives her ‘excellent opportunity’ to develop her ‘account and relationship management skills’.

Trade Partnership Director Di Selby said Vicky’s role change reflects ‘the amazing talent we have within the group and reflects our commitment and support of our people’.

“We think Gary and Vicky will continue to do very valuable work for our trade partnerships,” she added.

Gary added: “Trade partnerships are paramount to everything we do. We look forward to continuing strong relationships with our key accounts, as well as nurturing new business.”

Vicky said trade partnerships had always been her focus, adding: “Joining Gary and the trade team is the perfect opportunity for me.

“I’m looking forward to working closely with Gary and re-engaging with agent partners over the coming weeks.”
