Italy has extended the list of venues and facilities where a Super Green Pass – the digital certificate that gives evidence of full vaccination from COVID, or recent recovery – is required for entry.

From today, proof of vaccination or recent recovery is needed to enter hotels, use transport and ski lifts and visit outdoor restaurants, outdoor swimming pools and wellness centres.

The Super Green Pass was already necessary to get into a wide range of venues, including indoor swimming pools, gyms, sports stadiums and facilities, as well as museums and exhibitions, spas, theme and amusement parks, social and recreation centres.

Italy will accept the UK’s NHS COVID pass as proof of the Super Green Pass.

The Super Green Pass applies to all over 12s and means admission to venues and facilities on the list is no longer open to unvaccinated people who show a negative test.
