Italian airline SkyAlps will operate a new service from Stansted to Bolzano for the upcoming winter season.
The service means travellers will now be able to reach the popular ski resorts of Val di Fassa in just over an hour, which is three hours quicker than the traditional route from Milan Airport.
SkyAlps has called the service ‘the World’s greatest ski lift’ because of its close proximity to the slopes.
The 76-seater aircraft will operate two flights a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays. The service will run from 13 December 2023 to 14 April 2024.
Prices start at €184 one-way (approximately £160).
