The Inspire Group has embarked on a series of free training programmes for its Inspire Travel Associates homeworkers.

The first programme, facilitated by Ginger Juice, was designed to help them get the best out of their marketing on social media.

Managing Director Lisa Henning said: “As part of our ambitious plan to grow our homeworking business, we are making a significant investment in our Inspire Travel Associates through implementing a wide and varied training and development programme aimed at helping them build their business skills.

“The first training session was on social media and helping them maximise their efforts on all the channels they have available to them. It is a core part of their local marketing, and we want them to be the best they can be at it.

“Our goal is to have a first-class service offering for our team of Inspire Travel Associates, and a pool of resources available to them to help them grow their businesses.  The feedback from them has been phenomenal, especially as they are keen to come out of the pandemic stronger than ever.”

Ginger Juice Managing Director Bruce Martin added: “People are spending more time than ever on social media so it’s vital that travel agents are able to use social media effectively to help them reach potential customers and increase leads.”

The next sessions to be hosted will be focused on destination training, in conjunction with tourist boards, who are currently being invited to support the initiative.

The Inspire Group announced in earlier this month its intention to grow its homeworking team through the launch of a recruitment drive and a rebrand. With a team of 40 currently, the company is looking to grow this by a further 40 over the next 12 months.
