Inspire Group has appointed Charlotte Gallop as full-time Business Development Manager with immediate effect.

Charlotte has re-joined the travel industry after spending the last two years in recruitment.  She previously worked for brands including Travel Counsellors, Going Places, Thomas Cook and Teldar Travel.

In her new role, she will be seeking to recruit new homeworkers to Inspire, who trade under the name of Independent Travel Advisors, as well as launch a series of recruitment days and other events to support this division of the business.

She will also be responsible for working closely with the existing team of Independent Travel Advisors to support the delivery of their development plans.

Inspire Europe MD Lisa Henning said: “We have ambitious plans to grow our homeworking business and Charlotte will play an integral role in this.  She is also a qualified business coach so will be an excellent resource and support for our growing team of Independent Travel Advisors.”

Gallop takes over the role from Lorna Hardy, who has been supporting the business in the capacity of Business Development Manager in a part-time capacity.

She recently made the decision to focus more on developing her own business as an Independent Travel Advisor, but will continue to provide training support to new Independent Travel Advisors.

Lisa added: “I would like to thank Lorna for all her efforts in this role.  She has helped us develop a really strong team of Independent Travel Advisors who are all running successful, well-established and thriving business.”

Charlotte will report to Sam Fisher, who was appointed Head of Business Development in February.
