Travel industry friends and colleagues have paid tribute to Designer Travel agent Angela Mayall, who died at the weekend.

Angela, from Saddleworth, Greater Manchester, spent 16 years with Designer Travel.

Designer Travel Managing Director Amanda Matthews said she was ‘the most perfect friend I could have ever wished for’.

Iberostar Hotels Sales and Promotion Manager Aishling McLoughlin said: “I am absolutely devastated. What a lovely woman she was. What a loss to the world.”

Quark Expeditions National Business Development Manager Nick Hindle said: My heart goes out to the family, friends and Designer Travel, we’ve lost another industry legend far too young.”
