Eastern Airways is to start serving Cornwall Airport Newquay for this summer.

The new service, commencing on Friday 1 April, will operate from Humberside Airport every Monday and Friday.

The flight schedule has been designed to provide maximum opportunity for long weekend stays, weekly commuting and those who also wish to visit friends or family, avoiding the otherwise seven-hour drive or eight-hour rail journey between the regions.

The service departs Humberside at 11:10am on both Mondays and Fridays, with a return service leaving Cornwall Newquay at 1.05pm, with a flight time of just over an hour.
