Holidaysplease is to hold its first-ever in-person recruitment event next week as it steps up recruitment efforts following the pandemic.
Potential homeworkers are being invited to a ‘coffee morning-style’ session at the group’s Birmingham head office on Thursday 11 August, with the chance to quiz senior executives and current Holidaysplease members about life in the group.
Holidaysplease brand and growth executive Cat Reeves said the aim of the event, from 10am to 1pm, was to identify potential recruits that would fit with the company’s ethos.
“We’re not one of those groups that will let just anyone sign up as an agent,” she said. “We’re interested in finding people with a history in the industry who know how it works and how to sell properly.
“At the event we’ll have directors, people from our sales team and social media side, and four Holidaysplease agents. This is a chance for people to grill us and speak to our agents for an honest overview of life here. We want to be as transparent as possible.”
In a first for the group, new agents will be eligible to receive live leads from the clients of former Holidaysplease members who have now left the group. The business is also stepping up training for all members, with business development guru Danny Sperling offering coaching in how to maximise bookings from the customer database.
Anyone signing up as a result of the sessions will not have to pay a joining fee. Those unable to attend the Birmingham event will be able to join online. For more details email [email protected]
