Heathrow is giving away free flights and experiences to celebrate the re-opening of travel and its 75 anniversary.
It said it was launching the Come fly again initiative, together with its airport partners, ‘to help reunite those in the UK with friends and family around the world and help people to rediscover the joy of travel’.
It follows the further easing of Government travel restrictions for Brits, who no longer need to quarantine on their return to the UK from amber countries if they are fully vaccinated or under 18.
The Come Fly Again travel experience will include free flights from Heathrow and a free meal at an airport restaurant, as well as gifts and travel essentials from the likes of British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Blue Air, Gordon Ramsay Plane Food, Fortnum and Mason, Leon, WH Smith, Macallan Whiskey, Cignpost, Heathrow Meet & Greet and Heathrow Express.
The competition will run from 29 July – 29 November 2021. Winners will be selected at three key occasions: summer, October half-term and Christmas.
At each competition stage, three winners will be selected by an independent adjudicator, with one winner chosen from each of the following categories: individuals, couples, and families.
To enter the competition participants must tell Heathrow a) who they would like to be reunited with; b) where they would like to travel to and c) why this reunion is so important to them.
Winners of flights and experiences will have up to six months to redeem their packages.
