Hays Travel has appointed David McNiven to the newly-created role of Head of Marketing.

He has previously held senior marketing roles at Expedia and Cairn Hotel Group and within London-based marketing agencies, including Wavemaker where he led the affiliate marketing department.

His LinkedIn profile says he is also the founder of hotel digital marketing consultancy Book Direct.

At Hays, David will work alongside Head of Digital Sukie Rapal, who was previously covering both the broader marketing as well as digital marketing role. Both will report to Director of Strategy Lisa McAuley.
