Hays Travel is to run its Big Hays Travel Thank You again next summer, the company’s Chair Dame Irene Hays has announced.

The Big Hays Travel Thank You was launched in July to recognise and reward staff for their hard work during and after the pandemic and has given away two new cars, a cruise, a trip to New York and an Apple bundle, as well as paying two winners’ household bills until March 2023.

The sixth and final winner of The Big Hays Travel Thank You for 2022 is Andrea McBurney from Hays Travel Abbey Centre, Belfast.

Andrea, who travelled over to Sunderland from Northern Ireland to claim her prize from Dame Irene, said: “I am completely delighted. I can’t believe I have actually won a brand-new car. It is so exciting to be able to drive it home today.”

Dame Irene said: “We have had so much fun over the last six months with this initiative.

“The aim was to recognise and reward our colleagues while bringing a sense of excitement and fun.

“I am delighted to announce that the Big Hays Travel Thank You will be back next summer with another set of amazing prizes.”

Although the Big Hays Travel Thank You has ended for 2022, The Big Hays Travel Festive Thank You will continue with three more prizes to be won.

So far this month, Hays Travel colleagues have won food hampers, shopping vouchers and family days out.
