Hays Travel’s homeworking division has held his its first ever pre-peaks virtual conference, attended by more than 220 homeworkers across the UK.

Hays Chair Dame Irene Hays gave and overview of the wider business, including trends, observations of the marketplace and the impact of rising inflation and costs on customers’ spending habits, while members also heard about the company’s plans for the peak season and the support that homeworkers will receive.

Head of Hays Travel’s Personal Travel Consultant division, Tanya Cooper, said: “The virtual conference has followed a bumper month for the homeworking division, with results of over 200% growth on the prior year and a 100% growth on the prior month.”

Hays Personal Travel Consultant Aaron Petty said: “The virtual conference was really motivational and has left me feeling confident about the upcoming peaks season.” 

Hays’ homeworking division has recently added a new Academy Leads Supported Option package for those with no travel experience, but who have a passion for travel and can gain access to good quality leads. 

The head office team has also expanded, with Victoria Johnson joins as Homeworking Recruitment Executive.
