The JG Travel Group has launched a new coach break themed around the BBC hit Happy Valley.

The crime drama’s last-ever episode will be shown on Sunday at 9pm on BBC1 and JG Travel Group expects its new break to be a sell-out among fans.

The five-day Yorkshire’s Happy Valley and Bronte Steam tour includes a visit to some of the most notable Happy Valley filming locations, including Hebden Bridge, Upper Calder Valley, Sowerby Bridge and Halifax.

The tour is available through Just Go! Holidays and National Holidays.

The break also includes a full day visit to Keighley, which provided the location for some iconic scenes in the series. A scenic heritage train journey on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway through Brontë Country to Haworth is also included.

Product Director Joanna Roberts said: We’ve created this new tour in time for the finale on Sunday and hope that agents will use the hype around the show as an opportunity to generate sales.

“We know how well our other tours sell that link to TV shows and I have no doubt that this will appeal to lots of customers who will miss watching the drama unfold in West Yorkshire.”

Tours depart on 19 June, 17 July, 28 August and 25 September and cost from £339pp.

The price includes return coach travel from selected pickup points in the north and the Midlands, four nights’ accommodation with breakfast and dinner, the Happy Valley Locations tour, an excursion to Keighley and Haworth plus the heritage train journey.
