Bedsonline has appointed Gemma Walker as Key Account Manager for the Irish market.

Gemma has worked in the industry for 20 years, most recently as Key Account Manager for the north for Newmarket Holidays, a role she held for 11 years.

She has also worked for both Jet2 and Thomas Cook.

Gemma said: “My greatest career achievement so far has been building a relatively unknown brand into a market-leader in escorted tours, working closely with travel agent partners to build an understanding of the support they need and the products they want.

“I enjoy working with a great portfolio of products, and I’m looking forward to being able to take Bedsonline’s fantastic offering into Ireland. I’m super excited to meet Bedsonline clients, gain an understanding of each branch’s needs and building relationships. I also can’t wait to try a proper pint of Guinness!”

Earlier this year John-James McDermott joined the Bedsonline team as Key Account Manager for the midlands and the north of the UK. He previously held roles at Booking.com and LateRooms.com.
