A seven-days-a-week direct trains service between London and Gatwick Airport will resume next month.
The regular Gatwick Express non-stop service was suspended two years ago due to the pandemic.
It resumed on weekdays only in December, but the service was suspended again just two weeks later due to a combination of engineering works and the Omicron virus once again depressing travel demand.
A daily non-stop service between London Victoria and Gatwick will return on 3 April, although this will be restricted due to ongoing work to upgrade the airport station.
Gatwick Express will have two services an hour, compared to four pre-pandemic. The operator warned weekend service might be disrupted due to the engineering works.
As in the past, peak-time weekday services will also also call at Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Hassocks and Preston Park.
