All ferries between Dover and Calais have been suspended until 4pm at the earlierst today because of French strikes.
The Port of Dover tweeted this morning to say: “Due to national action in France on the 09/02/23, there will be no ship movements in the port of Calais and all sailings will be suspended between 08:00 and 17:00.
“Sailings to Dunkirk have not been affected.”
DFDS passengers who were due to be travelling from Dover to Calais have been told to go to the port where they will be transferred on Dunkirk ferry.
DFDS passengers due to sail from Calais have been told to make their way to Dunkirk where they’ll be put on the first available departure.
P&O Ferries said: “Due to a national strike in Calais the Port Of Calais is closed until 1700 CET [4pm GMT]. Because of this all our sailings are suspended until then.”
