More than a dozen flights in and out of London have been cancelled or delayed today due to freezing fog.

The disruption at London City Airport is expected to last until early afternoon.

Flights by British Airways, Lufthansa and KLM have all been affected.

Services to Amsterdam, Zurich and Chambery were among those that had to be cancelled this morning, while flights to several other European and domestic cities were delayed.

A Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt and KLM flight from Amsterdam were cancelled, along with a flight from Berlin and BA’s lunchtime service from Florence.
