Fred. Olsen Cruise Line has confirmed Samantha Stimpson as its new CEO.

She joins from German tour operator FTI Touristik, where she is Chief Commercial Officer.

Her previous roles in the travel industry include almost two years as Head of Retail at Thomas Cook until October 2019, almost a year at STA Travel, first as Group Sales and Distribution Director then as Group Commercial and Marketing Director, and Chief Travel Officer at travel app Tripstream.

Her new role will begin no later than 1 February 2024, said Fred. Olsen.

Managing Director Pete Deer will, as previously announced, become Chief Financial Officer.
