Former Home Secretary Amber Rudd has been confirmed as a speaker at ABTA’s Travel Matters conference later this month.

Ms Rudd will deliver anecdotes on life in Westminster and her thoughts on future policy.

Her talk will be followed by an audience Q&A.

This year’s event on 22 June in central London is themed ‘An Agenda for Recovery and Renewal’.

It will examine what is needed from Government to rebuild travel, the policies that are shaping the travel landscape and what the industry can learn from the pandemic.

Other speakers include ABTA Chief Executive Mark Tanzer, followed by an audience Q&A and Nikki da Costa, Specialist Partner, Flint Global and former Director of Legislative Affairs at No.10 Downing Street, plus travel industry heavyweights including Airlines UK chief Tim Alderslade.
