Former Caribbean Tourism Organisation UK and Europe Business Development Director Carol Hay has joined a tourism company in Saudi Arabia.
Carol, who announced her departure from the CTO last month, has taken on the new role of International and Horizontal Partnerships Director at The Royal Commission for AlUla.
The company was established to develop AlUla, a region of natural and cultural significance in northwest Saudi Arabia, into a tourism destination.
She has previously spent 25 years working in the Caribbean tourism industry, including at the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority and more recently at the CTO.
She has been replaced at the CTO by Florian Valmy-Devillers.
