The Foreign Office has updated its advice to Brits travelling to France ahead of nationwide strikes and demonstrations next week.
Two strike days have been planned, although the FCDO says days either side are also likely to be affected.
The FCDO’s update says: “Several unions have called for cross-sector strike action and demonstrations on Tuesday 7 and Saturday 11 February.”
Many schools in the UK break up on 10 February.
The FCDO adds: “Industrial action may start the evening before a strike day and run until the morning after.
“Localised or sector specific strikes could also occur outside these dates.
“Industrial action may lead to disruption to services.
“Please check the latest advice with operators before travelling, avoid demonstrations and follow the advice of local authorities.”
