The Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has removed its advice against all but essential travel to the US.

The FCDO said it ‘no longer advises against all but essential travel to the US, based on the current assessment of COVID-19 risks’.

The advice applies to the whole of the country, including the US Virgin Islands and Northern Mariana Islands, but not Puerto Rico, American Samoa and Guam.

However, the US currently does not allow visitors from the UK.
