Flybe looks set to be wound down after discussions with potential buyers stalled, according to reports.
Sky News says administrators Interpath Advisory has terminated talks with potential buyers, which were reported to have included Air France-KLM and Lufthansa.
The remaining staff who were kept on after the company went into administration last month are ‘being informed of the decision’ today.
Flybe relaunched less than a year ago after initially ceasing operations in 2020.
It called in administrators on 31 January.
The administrators confirmed: “Discussions with parties regarding a sale of the business have now concluded.”
The adminstrator added: “Despite significant interest from a number of credible parties, it has not been possible to develop a transaction in the available timeframe and, as such, the joint administrators will now commence the process of winding down the business and identifying options in relation to the sale of specific rights, interests and assets.”
